 Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat
The backyard garden at Foster Family Dentistry became a Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat. Kevin Good of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department formally presented the award to Joan Foster in May 2008.
To be eligible for certification, the habitat must contain no more than two “exotic” plants and must use native plants. The garden must also provide reliable food, water, and shelter year-round.
